Marketing Intern, B2C

About the role:

We are looking for an intelligently creative, witty and outgoing individual for our first ever batch of hires. You will be fundamental in building, owning and executing our B2C marketing strategy from the ground up to support our visibility and to generate demand amongst consumers. You will be driving consumer awareness, engaging with target consumers and using their voice to help our B2B lead generation activities.

Carryr is a UK-based B2B2C startup and we're on a mission to complete the promise of e-commerce convenience with an end-to-end delivery experience that's fast, frictionless and convenient. Delivery should no longer be an inconvenience, it should be on the customers' terms and be available with your favourite retailers – let's make that happen!

This is a six-month, part-time placement (25 hours per week) in line with the government Kickstart Scheme, with the scope to stay on afterwards on a full-time permanent position (with equity, benefits and bonuses). This is a remote/WFH position with flexible hours (we focus on the results), so all UK locations welcome!

What you'll be doing:

  • Building the brand to define the 'Carryr tone of voice' to reflect the consumers that shop with prospective brands and retailers
  • Creating and editing engaging content (videos, imagery and copywriting)
  • Growing and engaging with audiences of consumers via social media, email marketing and other channels to better understand their biggest problems and their shopping habits (i.e. who they shop with, what they buy, how often, stories on their delivery problems, etc.)
  • Collaborating on co-marketing materials with retailers to help campaigns resonate with their customers (localised and in general)
  • Working closely with the founders from supporting sales, product development and operations
  • Coordinating consumer-facing campaigns and launch materials of new retailers and new locations
  • Clearly documenting processes, strategies and tactics

This is a Kickstart role!
  • You must be aged 16-24 and receiving Universal Credit to apply for this role.
  • The roles is for a 6 month period
